Consisting of 25 short chapters from enthusiastic travellers (many well-known in their field) detailing their experiences of special interest travel and offering hints for those wholl follow in their paths.
Topics are arranged alphabetically and range from archaeology, to bird watching, to golf, to photography, to summer schools, to walking and trekking and water adventures, with many topics in between.
A section on practicalities includes good advice for travel, health and safety, leadership, responsible travel, womens issues and on the crucial issue of surviving the group. A directory of over 50 special interest travel organisations in Australia is included.
